Our goals
Mission
Our mission is to support the integration of Sudanese individuals and families, including youth, into Broome County through collaboration, cultural exchange, and active community involvement. We aim to foster cooperation with local organizations, preserve and celebrate Sudanese heritage, and create pathways for meaningful social, educational, and personal development connections.
Vision
We envision a vibrant, diverse community where Sudanese individuals, families, and youth are fully integrated into the social and cultural fabric of Broome County. Through mutual understanding, shared experiences, and collaborative efforts, we seek to create a welcoming environment that enriches both the Sudanese community and the wider county.

Mahir Eisa
Mahir Eisa the president of Sudanese Community of Brome County. I moved to Vestal in Broome County in mid of 2005 to work for a company in Owego NY. I was the only Sudanese in the area until the end of 2013 when br. Solyman Yagoub and br. Ali Asou moved to the area.
